Erik Hansen

Biography

I am a fifth-generation Boisean, and my great grandfather owned and ran a printing press one block down from our hotel in downtown Boise. I graduated with a BBA in business economics from Boise State University. My first job was starting a paper route. I then moved to working in restaurants, eventually transitioning to working in hotels in 1990. I married my wife, Carlene, in 2010 and we now have three somewhat independent kids and a grandchild. We visit our little cabin in the mountains frequently and keep busy around the house with grandparenting, gardening, motorcycle riding, and anything else that gets us outside and active. I have a passion for collecting, restoring, and making antique-style furniture.
